Great Pyrenees rescue is rarely the work of one person. A dog may need someone to make a phone call, drive a few miles, open a spare room, help with grooming, share a post, sponsor veterinary care or simply be the next safe place in the chain.
You do not have to do everything. You just have to be willing to do something.
Open Your Home
A foster home gives a dog room to decompress, heal and show us who they really are. Every foster also creates space for us to help the next dog.
Lend a Hand
Transport, grooming, errands, events and hands-on help all matter. Some volunteers work directly with dogs. Others help keep everything around them moving.
Help Carry the Cost
Veterinary care, medications and preventatives, transport, recovery and safe storage needs add up quickly. One-time gifts and monthly support help us keep saying yes when the next dog needs us.
You Don’t Have to Be a Dog Trainer
Rescue needs all kinds of people. Maybe you can drive. Maybe you can take photographs, help at an event, make phone calls, share a dog with your network, repair something, organize supplies or give a dog a quiet place to spend a few nights.
Tell us what you are comfortable doing. We would rather find the right way for you to help than ask you to take on something that is not a good fit.
Sometimes the Most Important Thing Is a Connection
You may know a foster family, a veterinarian, a transporter, an adopter, another rescue or someone willing to help with a difficult case. Those connections are how dogs move from an impossible situation to a safe one.
