About Us

The Pyrenees Rescue of Western NC was established in 2015. Our goal was to take in unwanted Great Pyrenees from the surrounding counties (and states). We have grown significantly over the past 4 years.

Sandi Disher joined the rescue as the Program Manager on May 7, 2021. She moved up here from Charlotte, NC to take over the administration of the rescue, as well as helping with day to day operations.
